Day 216- October 26- Minnie Molly Snowball

Minnie Molly received some HUGE news today. She was chosen to attend the Students on Ice trip this winter to Antarctica. She had the idea last month and did the research/ footwork needed to apply on her own. I was one of her references and it was quite possibly the easiest reference letter I have ever written. She was a clear choice in my opinion, and clearly I'm not the only one who thinks so. Minnie Molly is a leader of TODAY, not tomorrow but TODAY. She is driven like no one I have ever taught and is very serious about understanding how things work, she doesn't take things for granted but wants to know why they are the way they are. She is a very good communicator, insightful thinker and natural born leader. She takes her health seriously and is involved in many sports. She is also a "travelaholic", and will likely do at least 5 major trips this year alone. I am very happy to have her in my class and love what she brings to the table. I am anxious to learn from her experience "down under"! Congrats Minnie Molly! (Oh and check out her blog as well to get a taste of her, her thoughts, concerns and values! Be prepared to be BLOWN away by her!!)
