Day 79- June 7- Jill Goodwin

Kenneth and Jill picked me up from Bayer's Lake in Halifax on Sunday. We shopped, drove around and had a yummy supper at the "The Wooden Monkey" in the downtown. It was a delicious place to chow down. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was warm and inviting. OUr table was made from a slice of a huge tree trunk. We counted the rings and determined it was only about 30 years old. We also loved the sophisticated monkey painting on the wall.

Jill is really musical, if she ever had a band she should totally call it "Jill Goodwin and the Wooden Monkeys", because that would be very cute! Jill is my brother Kenneth's girlfriend. They've been together for a while now, and totally complement each other. For his ridiculousness, she can be sane and stable. For his boringness, she gets him moving and being creative. They are a lot of fun to be around and are almost always up for an adventure. She's also a techophile so we can talk about Apple and it's new gadgets really easily. Jill comes from a pretty big family, mostly all living around Carleton area of Yarmouth County. She works at a hair studio on Starrs Road and does a fantastic job creating some pretty wonderful looks. Go see her if you need a dye or a snip! Enjoy the pics!
