I had to check out of Howe Hall by 10 am this morning. I met Aimee, a friend from school, and her oldest son, Elliot for a coffee and catch up. We'd seen each other 3 years ago at our 10 year reunion, so it had been quite a while! I hiked up to the "Local Jo Cafe" on Oxford since Aimee knew it was a very kids friendly place. Elliot really enjoyed the books, he's a super bright little guy that is heading to school in two years but is already really ahead of your average kid. It was really fun to see how he is growing up. We enjoyed the coffee, wonderful baked goods and the flurry of children and parents in the toy loft that morning.
He didn't really want his picture taken at first.
He especially enjoyed the Theodore Tugboat book.
