My cousin Angela messaged me on Facebook today with a new painting she is working on. She doesn't live in Yarmouth, but I thought I could get away with posting some pictures I had from her and tweaking in photoshop instead. Angela studied at NSCAD in the Arts University in Halifax, has an incredible talent for art. Normally I see her painting, but I know she also does drawing, and other forms as well. Her painting is really something incredible, check out her art website. Her husband, Grant is also an artist, but works mainly in computer imagery, especially with video game art in recent years. They are living in Quebec City now, but have lived and worked in Chicago and Germany before that.
Angela is my cousin from my mother's side of the family, her mother, Cheryl, is one of my mom's older sisters. Cheryl is also an incredibly talented artist as well. When Angela was leaving Halifax a few years ago, I purchased a few of her paintings. I love them more every time I look at them. Do yourself a favour and check out her art! She does commission work as well, working from any photograph you can send her, so think about it!! You can also see some "work in progress" pieces on her other website.
