These pretty girls were proud as can be of taking part in the Terry Fox Fundraising Walk. The school made a goal of 1000$ this year, which is more than we've raised before. We had a few challenges (shaved heads, principal dress up as a girl, etc.) to encourage the kids to raise money and broke our goal by over 500$ more! The girls below saw me with my camera after the event and asked to have a picture with their tattoos and certificates. Elisapie is a spunky and energetic little girl, she is gentle and wonderfully full of expression, despite being very weak at English. Bella is the youngest sister of some of my most favourite former students. She actually attended my class one afternoon when she was around 3 since her older sister had to watch her when the day care was closed one day. We gave her a colouring page and she proudly worked alongside her big sister, it was so cute. She is growing up and now attends school herself now, I think I am starting to date myself! ha ha!
